I think like with most daughters, I've had my ups and downs with my mom. We are not perfect. The older I get the more I see and admire my mother for the human that she is. Not as my mom, someone who could do no wrong, but as another person in this planet. I know everyone makes mistakes so I hold no judgement on hers, as I know she holds no judgement on mine.
I hope in my heart, I am like my mother in so many ways. My mother instiled in me the joys of reading the written word. Books are a passion of my mothers' and something we all hold in common. My mother also has an incredible sense of style and is a wonderful artist. Her house to anyone, when they first walk in, expecially to children, is like a tour in museum, that you are able to touch and play with. Displaying artwork from not only herself, but all of her children. I laugh, because spending time in my both mother' and my sister's house recently, I see where both my sister and I get our decorating skills from.
This is part of my Mom's house->
This is my sister's house and cute babies->
That is another thing that her and my sister share in common...cute mixed babies:)
My Sister is my idol.
She is the one I have to connect me to all the areas of my life.
She grounds me in reality and lifts my spirit when needed.
She gives me comfort and talks me down off of ledges.
She is my friend. Not a lot of sisters can say that...but I know I can.

So this is my little special thanks to these important women in my life!!!!!
Nothing I can do or give you can compare with everything you both have given to me.
I love you both so much and need you even more!
btw...sorry about the pic but I love it:)

I am speechless. I am without speech. Thank you so much, honey.
